Real Madrid on top of La Liga for a day

Malaga-Real Madrid 0-4

Real Madrid was on top of La Liga table with 19 points, leaving FC Barcelona behind with 18 points. How did this happen? It was thanks to the splendid performance Real Madrid had against Malaga, and the not so brilliant of FC Barcelona against Sevilla (0-0). Both games were played last Saturday, 22nd October.

Higuain scored the opener goal which was followed by a hat-trick of Ronaldo. The four only goals of the game were scored within the first half of the game, 45 minutes to get 4 into the rivals goal. Malaga tried to score several times but didn't succeed in their attempt.

However, this first position of Real Madrid in La Liga didn't last long. Levante had one match left against Villarreal on Sunday and won 3-0. So, Levante is now the leader!

Anyway, Higuain and Ronaldo continue being the highest scoring couple of La Liga and I'm sure it's going to be hard to snatch their title, almost impossible!

Real Madrid players can now drive their new Audi cars, they were given away last Thursday to celebrate their victory and their position in La Liga table. But don't forget the next match against Villarreal on Wednesday.

I wish Casillas could give me a ride in his Audi!!! Anyone would want to join us? :P
